Week is Not Complete Without Ichiriki

Friday night dinner at Ichiriki Aiea. Short rib shabu shabu is May's special of the month for $16.95 during happy hour. My favorite place and dish to eat. Vegetables, short rib, rice and choice of udon or ramen. Can't forget the goma and ponzu dipping sauces.

Thank you Ichiriki for our complimentary dessert. Brownie Ala Mode our favorite dessert. Hot fresh brownie with vanilla ice cream. Great service and great food!

Skincare Haul

Picked up the Murad Age-Balancing Moisture with SPF 30, Murad Renewing Eye Cream and Erno Laszio Antioxidant Complex for Eyes. Three of my daily must have skincare products.
Got a bunch of samples to try and play with. Excited to try the Eve Lom cleanser which is suppose to be like a mini facial which will help with acne, pore size and overall look of skin. It comes with it's own special cloth.
Couple of retinal products to try out and some mini mud bar cleansers. I always leave the store with more samples and goodies of amazing products. You can never put a price on skincare products.

It is what it is...

"You can't move forward without being pushed back and you can't reach the stars without falling a couple of times."

I'm still on the hunt for my Revlon lip butters. My current obsessions right now is my BB cream, and my masks from TheFaceShop. With baseball season here I need to get back in the habit of wearing sunscreen again. I know I should be wearing it everyday no matter what.

So i've been in total fatty status mode lately. Love to eat and eat. :) Shige's saimin and teriburger...so yummy!

I finally found my Hello Kitty glasses and I absolutely love them. I bought two different styles. The hottest trend in Asia is the frames with no lenses. Strange but so cute.

I went to watch the mini Mililani 49ers play their final game at St.Louis on the turf field. The one and only game I go to they win 8-6. Yay! Love those boys and their little sisters. Never a dull moment. Baseball season is right around the corner...looks like i'll be turning into a park rat again. ;)

CONGRATULATIONS to Jenna and Lisa! We had a baby shower for my BFF from high school Jenna. She's home for a conference in Kona but came home early to spend a day on Oahu. I'm going to have a niece in May. So excited! And Lisa got engaged on Christmas day! So much going on lately.

I miss my BFF Jenna so much!!! So happy I got to see her and I get to spend more time with her at the end of the week. So happy and excited for her and Noah. :)

That's it for now. Going to have a nephew and niece pretty soon. Going to be a busy aunty. :)

Loving Life!

"Bad things happen, no one said life would be easy, yet out of hardship rises a soul destined to reach the stars above."

The last few weeks have been so wonderful! Hanging out with amazing friends...new and old. Having so much fun! Thank you everyone for all the memories, laughs & new friendships I've been making.

As for beauty...I'm on a mad hunt for the Revlon Lip Butters...must have! I'll keep updated on that search.

My mini me's 4th birthday party at Chuck E Cheese.

My BFF's baby shower. Love them so much!

A SURPRISE congratulations party for Mika one of the most true, genuine & loving friends I have! She had no clue. Mission accomplished!

By the end of the night she was our favorite Sminka! :)

As for me...new beginnings, bigger & better things and new adventures are starting for me. I'll still be out and about. :)

Welcome 2012!!!

Hey everybody...
So I know I have not kept up on my blog like last promised. But here we go again...new year and I am really going to try and keep this blog updated. :)

My current 2012 addictions:

I am so happy we finally have The Face Shop here in Hawaii. I no longer have to request eyelashes or other skin care stuff from people when they go to Korea. This place is like a dream come true.

Here are some of the goodies that I picked up from The Face Shop. A bunch of masks, eyelashes, body exfoliator and a pore refining treatment. The pore refining treatment is amazing it helps shrink my pores and and helps fine lines and wrinkles disappear. Everything in the store is cheap and amazing!

Here is one of the masks that I picked up. It's the cucumber extract mask and used to fill puffy and lackluster skin with cool hydrating minerals. Throw this in the refrigerator and use it after a long night.
My next current addiction is my Clarisonic that I got for Christmas. I love, love, love it! Hopefully with this and the stuff from The Face Shop my skin will stay young and healthy looking. Ohhh...Koreans how we are slightly obsessed with skincare. :)

And the last thing...I'm on the hunt for all four of these Nixon watches. I don't know why but I really like them and especially want the ceramic white ones.

Biggest must have...calgel nails

One of my biggest must haves is getting my nails done. I use to get acrylics until I discovered Japanese nail art. Many Japanese nail salons use calgel. It's safe for your nails and is basically like a gel overlay over your real nails. Within one month of calgel my nails were long and healthy looking, still a little thin but no where compared to the damaged mess they were with acrylics.
I have been getting my nails done with calgel for about three years. I have not had my nails naked since. My nail lady is absolutely amazing and can pretty much do anything. I love glitter and I love sparkle but choosing a design is so hard. But no matter what I do, my nails always end up looking cute and beautiful.

I'm Back...

So I'm going to try to start up my blogging again. This time it's not just going to be about beauty, makeup and shopping. I think I'm going to make it a little about everything and anything. We'll see how a little bit of everything goes and see from there what this blog ends up being like. So here we go...
